SOUTHSIDE RESIDENCES
Southside Residences will replace an existing, decrepit building with a new 146-home development over 12 storeys.
The building has been designed in a unified grid with deep reveals and textured red brick on its lower floors, with a smoother red brick with detailing on its upper floors.
The building will accommodate 111 one & 35 two-bedroom apartments (1-4 persons; 39-77 sqm), with residents set to benefit from 655 sqm worth of amenities.
A foyer, reception, and a shared lounge will welcome residents into Kent Street, while a rear garden will be available, alongside 148 cycle spaces accessed via Lower Essex Street.
With two stair cores and three lifts providing access to the upper floors, there will also be two external roof terraces at Level 9 for residents.
At roof level, several air source heat pumps will be installed, along with photovoltaic panels and a habitat roof.
